Who signs the content
Guides, calculators, and comparisons are signed by the Camaleonic Survey editorial team, which is accountable for research and methodology. We do not attribute a text to someone who did not contribute or publish decorative biographies. When an external specialist or an identified team member reviews a piece, we will add their name, role, and the precise scope of that review.
How we verify a claim
We look first for the original research, official documentation, or applicable standard. A secondary source may help us locate the origin, but it does not replace the primary document when that is available. References appear with the resource and include a note explaining which claim they support.
Before publishing a comparison, we require competitor features to be checked against official pages. We display a verification date only after that human review is complete. We do not invent prices, ratings, or reviews, and we distinguish a documented feature from our judgement about which users each product suits best.
How we handle numbers and evidence
Every calculator publishes its formula, assumptions, and limitations. For original studies, we will state the population, period, filters, valid base, and aggregation method. We do not turn an association into a cause or present small segments as stable conclusions.
AI, translation, and human review
We may use AI to prepare a draft, organize notes, or produce a first translation. AI does not decide which claims we publish and does not replace source verification. Our publication gate requires a person to review meaning, links, calculations, and consistency across languages. We never place identifiable customer responses into this editorial process.
Updates and corrections
Every resource displays an update date. A comparison receives an additional verification date only after its human review is complete. We review pages that depend on changing information first.
